I am Ekhtiar Ahmed Bappy, a self-learned photographer from Dhaka, Bangladesh. I'm working as the General Secretary of Jahangirnagar University Photographic Society (JUPS).
I was photographically born in 2014. It started as a hobby to keep me busy in my free time, but gradually became a big part of my life. As a photographer and visual artist, my job of capturing the most beautiful moments brings me so much fulfillment and joy. For me, photography is about exploring the beauty of life. I believe in the power of visuals. From the streets to the majesty of nature, everything can be an inspiration. I love traveling, meeting different cultures and people. Apart from my photography based on nature and wildlife, I love to cover contemporary events and a few portraits. My job is to faithfully depict these diverse themes whilst preserving respect and empathy for the subjects and people I photograph.
